🏹Freedom, truth, expansion and adventure are the themes pulsed in by today’s Sagittarius new moon.
Humans are being asked about our RIGHT RELATIONSHIP with … life. The natural truth of this Sag new moon is the guru who questions our philosophies and frameworks for understanding who we are.
David Suzuki was recently quoted to say “it’s not environmentalists who will save the world, it’s the indigenous”. How does this relate to the expansion, freedom and truth? By highlighting a way of integrity for our species to exist on this planet.
When colonists first settled in Australia, they weren’t able to see the deep riches of the indigenous people. Europeans were used to seeing cathedrals, silks and fine food and wine as their measure of freedom and truth. Australia’s original people were (and are still to some degree) abundantly rich in freedom and truth — it just looks different. The indig mob carry riches through connection. They know how to be in right relationship with land, self and other. They had the most ultimate of freedom in those pre-settlement times — freedom from attachment to stuff. Their truth is in the riches of the nature realm, the dreaming, ancestors — all of which humans are but one piece.
This Sag month teaches us about the truths steering and motivating us. The centaurs sermon guides humans to come into right relationship with the truth of life; living in reverence and response-ability with the patterns and cycles of our planet.
My prayer is that we express the freedom we have to conjure the spells of regeneration — which permaculture articulates so well. May we journey far and wide to see the core truths of life spelt out by similar archetypes in different tones — allowing us the adventure of knowing we’re all one.
Truth and freedom in regenerative alignment with our living complex planet is what will allow us to thrive as a greater community of life.
Blessed be. Blessed be. Bless it to be 🌿
