Adaptive, responsive and effective organisations create potent positive impact.

They utilise collective intelligence.

They distribute leadership to engage the whole team.

And they get further faster with iterative and measurable progress.

Sociocracy creates adaptive & effective groups.

Sociocracy provides systems for organising work and for making decisions to guide that work.

It is a collaborative decision-making and governance framework using the values of effectiveness, transparency and equivalence.

A Summary

Sociocracy helps groups co-design their work and interactions within their domain of expertise.

Each group member is a leader. Together, they collaboratively decide on operational policy in semi-autonomous, self-organising groups to achieve the organisational mission.  Founded on the 'both/and' approach, Sociocracy allows for a flat-structure of teams, with a hierarchy of work focus.

Sociocracy embraces a circular functionality. Teams are ‘Circles’, policies are decided in the round, and decisions are always reviewed.  It integrates the edges of people’s real-time experience to ensure collective aims are met effectively, transparently and with equivalence.
